Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

Our Social Media

The children have had a fantastic first week in Reception. We have been exploring all the areas, inside and outside, making new friends and taking part in exciting activities. Look at all the fun we have had!

πŸ“š Celebrating Author Day in KS1! πŸ“š

Today, our KS1 classes celebrated Author Day by diving into the marvelous stories of Nick Butterworth!

We read his wonderful book Trixie the Witch's Cat and talked about what makes Trixie different from other catsβ€”a great reminder of... how fantastic it is to be unique. The children then brought their ideas to life by designing their very own one-of-a-kind witch's cats using different shapes and patterns! 🎨🐾

We also read his story The Treasure Hunt in class, which links directly to our upcoming trip, where the children will soon get to put their map and compass skills to the test! πŸ—ΊοΈπŸ§

Take a look at some of today's fantastic artwork! πŸ‘‡βœ¨

Y2D have celebrated the author Nick Butterworth and his wonderful collection of children’s books today for Author Day πŸ“š
We focused on two books: The Treasure Hunt and Trixie The Witch’s Cat.

We created cats that are different just like Trixie before creating crazy potions to ...turn our cats black just like a real witch’s cat. πŸ§™β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Έ

Y2D turned in to scientists this week classifying all the things in our playground.πŸ€“ We looked at what was alive, once was alive and what was never alive. πŸƒ
Can you spot us working super hard? 😎

πŸ“’ Important PE Day Update πŸ“’

Due to recent staffing changes within the academy, we have had to make some adjustments to our PE timetable. As a result, some classes will now have PE on different days than previously scheduled.

Please take a moment to check the updated PE ...timetable and ensure your child comes to school with the correct PE kit on their allocated day.

Thank you for your continued support.
