Key Stage 2 were visited by Mr MacGregor and Mr Rowe to share information about their jobs as civil engineers. They spoke about the importance of engineers and the role they play in the modern world. They shared some information about projects their company, AtkinsRéalis, is involved with, including “The Line” city being built in Saudi Arabia. They spoke about what it takes to be an engineer and what subjects they had to study in order to achieve that goal.

The children were involved in an engineering challenge, where they had to build a bridge with limited resources and see which one was strongest by holding the most amount of weight.
