Today we hosted some children and staff from The Ferns Primary Academy in Farnworth. After a really successful NETfest event at The Sage in Gateshead, the children from The Ferns travelled South and landed at Norton Primary Academy around ten o’clock. It was so lovely to welcome the children into our academy and after a quick tour they played outside and spent some time getting to know the children from Norton. As they still had a long journey home, there was just enough time for a game of rounders and a spot of lunch before getting back on their coach and making their way down South. It was a pleasure to spend this time with the children from The Ferns Primary Academy and we are looking forward to doing again soon.
